Energy efficiency in Serbia is at a very low level in comparison with an average in the world and the European Union countries. For this reason, TERMICAR Ltd. puts special emphasis to the component selection, both during designing and system construction. Carefully selected components are assembled to make a whole in order to use resources most efficiently and achieve a high level of energy efficiency, the same level as in the most developed European countries.
Energy efficiency measures most frequently relate to:
- Energy saving management programmes – this measure includes improving of the existing equipment and system efficiency, without any modifications in the plant production process or in the energy supply system.
- System efficiency improvement for heat and electricity supply by introducing new equipment or dismantling and replacing the old one, energetically more efficient equipment – this type of measure requires necessary investments which in short-term can significantly increase energy efficiency, and indirectly, through realised savings, provide financial resources for the investment return.
